Meetings
Bellevue PFLAG meets every month on the third Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
Everyone is welcome. We meet at Bellevue First United Methodist Church,
1934 108th Avenue NE, Bellevue. A map is available
here.
Our monthly chapter meetings provide a comfortable atmosphere of
openness and support. Our membership represents a wide range of GLBT
community members, including parents, family and friends. We hail from
all around Seattle's Eastside. Anyone attending the meeting can share
their experiences with others in similar situations.
During the first hour, members and visitors share recent experiences.
Often there are family members or friends who are attending for the
first time. Anyone may have questions, or seek advice. Members respond
from their own experience.
The second hour of our monthly meeting is usually devoted to learning
from an invited guest. We have learned from varied community members.
For example, in 2004 we heard from Evangelicals Concerned with
Reconciliation, the local Human Rights Campaign, and many individual
members of the GLBT community who had enlightening stories to share.
